ALEX MACQUEEN - PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Alex MacQueen is an HCPC Registered and Chartered Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Sports Rehabilitation Consultant, Founder and Owner of Movement Solutions Physiotherapy Clinic. Alex has spent most of his 25-year career working in the Scottish Premier League, as Head of Medical and Science with Kilmarnock FC, before being asked to join Glasgow Rangers as 1st team Physiotherapist, he has held similar positions at St Mirren, Falkirk, and East Fife football clubs.

He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University and a BSc (Hons) focused in Sports Rehabilitation from The University of Salford. He has a Post Grad Diploma in Manual Therapy, as well as Diplomas in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, F.A. Diploma in the Treatment and Management of Sports Injuries, and a Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage.

Throughout his career he has treated a variety of conditions and patients from different backgrounds, and various sports. After a thorough examination and explanation, he will determine the most appropriate treatment to get you back to doing whatever it is you love to do.

Alex has participated in Sport for most of his life. His main hobbies include participating in martial arts, he has a Black Belt in Judo and holds a UKCC Level 2 Judo Coaching Qualification, which he uses to great effect as assistant coach at Cumbernauld Judo Club.

Alex has developed his clinical expertise through training with the best experts in their field and prides himself on delivering the highest standards of service and care.

Cancellation Policy

Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient in need.

Cancellation Fees: If you do not cancel within 24hrs of your appointment full payment will be required if the appointment cant be filled.

No-Show Policy: If you do not attend your appointment and fail to notify us, full payment will be required.
