ALEX MACQUEEN - PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Alex MacQueen is an HCPC Registered and Chartered Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Sports Rehabilitation Consultant, Founder and Owner of Movement Solutions Physiotherapy Clinic. Alex has spent most of his 25-year career working in the Scottish Premier League, as Head of Medical and Science with Kilmarnock FC, before being asked to join Glasgow Rangers as 1st team Physiotherapist, he has held similar positions at St Mirren, Falkirk, and East Fife football clubs.

He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University and a BSc (Hons) focused in Sports Rehabilitation from The University of Salford. He has a Post Grad Diploma in Manual Therapy, as well as Diplomas in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, F.A. Diploma in the Treatment and Management of Sports Injuries, and a Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage.

Throughout his career he has treated a variety of conditions and patients from different backgrounds, and various sports. After a thorough examination and explanation, he will determine the most appropriate treatment to get you back to doing whatever it is you love to do.

Alex has participated in Sport for most of his life. His main hobbies include participating in martial arts, he has a Black Belt in Judo and holds a UKCC Level 2 Judo Coaching Qualification, which he uses to great effect as assistant coach at Cumbernauld Judo Club.

Alex has developed his clinical expertise through training with the best experts in their field and prides himself on delivering the highest standards of service and care.

Cancellation Policy
Movement Solutions Physiotherapy Clinic have a cancellation policy in place that allows us to schedule appointments for all patients. We do understand that appointments are cancelled for genuine reasons, however missed appointments incur costs.

OUR POLICY IS:
We Request that patients give the clinic 24hr notice in the event you cannot attend the appointment. You can inform us by email appointments@movement-solutions.co.uk or call 07597 640470 or 01236 733183.
Appointments moved or cancelled with less than 24hrs notice will incur a 50% of the full booking fee. If another patient books into the appointment slot, there will be no charge.
If Patients do not show for their appointment and have not cancelled in the appropriate time this will be classed as a missed appointment with the full cost of the appointment charged to them.
