Testimonials

I’ve Known Alex professionally for about 20 years as a competitive Judo player and latterly as a Judo Coach. As the National Coach for Judo, I have referred my squad players to Alex with serious injuries in the comfort of knowing that he will ensure they get the correct treatment and rehabilitation for a positive recovery. Alex has always given great advice and really gone that extra mile to make sure that my athletes come back as strong mentally and physically as they were before they sustained their injury. He explores each patient individually and their treatment and rehabilitation are tailored to their individual sporting needs. I have been part of the Great Britain & Scottish Judo Squads as a competitor & Coach since 1986 and in my opinion, Alex is by far the best I have worked with.

Gary Edwards 6th Dan- National Talent Development Coach Judo Scotland

I first met Alex 10 years ago when I joined Kilmarnock. It was evident then that I was working with one of the top physios in football. During my time at Kilmarnock I suffered a cartilage injury, Alex had me back playing in 10 days following surgery which was unheard off. When I left Kilmarnock to play for a couple of other clubs Alex would be the man I would seek when I incurred any injury. In 2011 I suffered a hip problem that was mis-diagnosed, I sought Alex’s advice and he diagnosed the problem straight away, he came up with a plan that allowed me to get playing professional football when everyone suggested I retire. Alex is someone if you listen to and follow his guidance will diagnose and have a plan of action to help your problem better or more Manageable. Alex is a Top professional in his field, I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Kevin Kyle- Kilmarnock, Glasgow Rangers, Sunderland, Scotland

Alex is one of the best physiotherapists I have come across whilst working in football. He is brilliant at Diagnosing injuries and the treatment and rehabilitation of them which is so important in our highly stressful industry. Alex is very professional, diligent and courteous at all times and would be one of the 1st people I would recommend anyone to see if they were needing treatment for injuries.

Stephen McGinn- St Mirren FC

In my 18-year career, Alex is by far the best physiotherapist I have ever had at a football club. His Knowledge, skill set and experience allowed me to go into training and games confident I wouldn’t get injured in the latter stage of my career because I knew if I did, he would look after me.

Anton Ferdinand- St Mirren & West Ham

Alex was recommended to me be a friend when I was struggling to get the right type of treatment. The moment he started to look at my body and my movement I knew I was in good hands. He understands how the body works in its complexity and won’t just look for the symptom, but rather for the cause. Therefore helps you not just in the short but in the long term
